About Us

Welcome to All Saints Elton Theatre Company, where community, creativity and a shared love of theatre bring people together.

Established in 1912, we are an award-winning theatre company and registered charity based in Elton, Bury, Greater Manchester. For more than a century, we have brought performers, creatives, volunteers and audiences together to enjoy and take part in live theatre.

We stage productions throughout the year, from musicals and plays to youth productions and special events. We aim to produce enjoyable, high-quality theatre while creating a friendly and supportive place where people can develop their skills, build confidence, meet new people and be part of something creative.

There Is More to Theatre Than Being on Stage

A production needs far more than actors. Our members and volunteers get involved in directing, choreography, stage management, costumes, props, set building, front of house, fundraising, technical roles and many other areas.

Whether you want to perform, work behind the scenes, help organise productions or simply give some of your time, there are plenty of ways to become part of All Saints Elton Theatre Company.

Supporting and Developing Talent

We are committed to giving people opportunities to learn, develop and explore the performing arts in a supportive environment. That includes opportunities for actors, singers, dancers, directors, technicians and other creatives to build their experience and develop new skills.

Our Youth Theatre provides younger members with opportunities to develop their confidence and creativity through acting, movement, voice work, workshops, rehearsals and live performances. It also helps introduce a new generation to the many different roles involved in creating theatre.

Rehearsals

Rehearsals run every week, with our main rehearsals usually taking place on Tuesday evenings. Monday or Thursday evenings may also be used for principals, production work and backstage preparation.

Community has always been at the heart of All Saints Elton Theatre Company. We rely on the time, enthusiasm and support of our members, volunteers, audiences and the wider local community to make what we do possible.

We want theatre to be welcoming and accessible, with opportunities for people of different ages and levels of experience to get involved. You do not need to dream of being in the spotlight to have an important role to play.
